Our Story of Loving Natural & Fresh Products
Meet Linda & Brian
My love affair with creating handcrafted body products started in 1978 when my Mother came across a recipe for a home made hand cream in a newspaper article. She was a naturalist and herbalist and searched for pure products without toxic chemicals.
I had long searched for products without chemicals,
mineral oil, and artificial colors and a host of other toxins routinely put into our personal care products and foods. Disappointed again and again with greenwashed imposters, I decided it was time to make my own.
-As a little girl growing up in the mountains of the northern Catskills, and the city, I learned early on from a Mom, way ahead of her time, to read and understand labels and always look for pure ingredients."
There is something magical about making and using soap and lotion bars, bath salts and lip balms from scratch, knowing what the ingredients are and using these products on a daily basis with a positive end result of soft skin and safe ingredients!
I paired this love of honest products with my love of dried wildflowers, herbs and natural gardening and our artisan soaps and bath and body products, and together, my husband Brian and I founded Linda's Healthy Living.
Our products are made of natural ingredients that you can pronounce with natural goodness to entice our sense of smell and touch, pampering and nourishing our skin!
We use the highest-quality food grade ingredients in all of our products.
No detergents, no phthalates, no mineral oil, no parabens, no sulfates, No palm, soy or canola oils either. are ever used. Instead we use goats milk, fresh from a farm in Pennsylvania, coconut milk, buttermilk along with herbs and wildflowers, grown here in our pesticide free garden. Wholesome oils, like olive, almond, apricot, jojoba, and avocado are oils we love.
Our Soothing Calendula Tallow Balm is made from pure suet from a family pasture raised cow.
Our tallow is always hand dry rendered and never purchased from the internet, substandard suppliers or China. We know exactly what goes into our products and where it is sourced from.
